About the Opportunity

As a QA / Software Testing Intern at GenMitra Technologies, you will help ensure our software systems are reliable, usable, and production-ready. You will design test cases, perform functional and regression testing, validate APIs, and document defects. This role provides practical experience in quality assurance workflows, manual testing methodologies, API verification, and test documentation across modern web platforms.

What You Will Do

  • Design, write, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, UI, and regression testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices.
  • Test RESTful APIs using Postman, validating status codes, response payloads, and edge cases.
  • Identify, isolate, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform release readiness verification.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to champion software quality.

Qualifications & Eligibility

  • Pursuing or completed a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Clear understanding of software testing lifecycles (STLC), QA methodologies, and defect workflows.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and methodical approach to problem reproduction.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
